Context
Directed at sixteen.
Carlos Ferrer directed Scallop Pond with a cast and crew of more than a hundred people while still in high school. It won Best Student Feature at the Long Island Film Festival and remains the film that started the company.
A mind-bending film noir. The imagery and range of complexity was definitely worth the watch.
