Production

Six years. Five of them in post.

Carlos Ferrer wrote, directed, shot, scored, sound-designed and built every visual effect in this film. The set extensions and composites were made in-house, and the process was later presented at SIGGRAPH 2016.

Studio Daily covered how a VFX-heavy feature got finished in six years on a $200,000 budget. The Los Angeles Times ran a profile the same year. Screen Media Films took domestic distribution, and MovieWeb carried the trailer and poster the day it went on demand.
